ABOUT US

Cupcakes for Cancer Philadelphia, Inc. is a local Philadelphia non-profit that aims to enhance well-being and the quality of life of survivors, co-survivors, and those who are currently battling cancer. The organization was founded by Syreeta Harrison, who held her first Cupcakes for Cancer fundraiser in October 2015. The event was birthed from her own personal battle with Stage II Breast Cancer. Syreeta decided to combine her love of baking and her gift of service to help those who were impacted by cancer. The monies from the fundraiser were used to create Chemo Care baskets, and were donated to Lankenau Hospital, and other Philadelphia Breast Cancer Charities. Since 2015 many Chemo Care baskets have been gifted to comfort cancer patients, however the official launch of the charity began in May 2022.
